A mushroom farm or cropping house should be sited on a low ground field that has a moist and damp atmosphere around as this encourages growth.
For ease of operation, movement in the cropping house as well as management of supply schedules, it is advisable to divide the cropping house into compartments.
Once brought in, mushrooms should be allowed to recover from transportation shocks at least within a period of four days. It is important to given special attention to hygienic conditions in and around the growing house before mushrooms are brought in for stocking.
Bags should be opened as planned to meet supply schedules. Routine watering and harvesting should be done early in the morning.
If necessary conditions are met, growing mushrooms should flush within 6 days after opening the compost bags. Humidity range between 70-75% and temperature between 20-30 degrees are favorable.
